Go with Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 250 GB SATA. It has 7200RPM and 8MB cache and should cost you around Rs.1,550.

Put up a [WTB] thread here on TE.

U'll be able to get higher capacity drives at lower prices with warranty left.

But in case u want a new one, XTechManiac has given u the best option.

What is your budget ?. IMHO you can get a 500gb instead of 250gb since the price difference is very less...
