will surely check it out... thnx 4 ur reply...one thing i saw their website there is noting like dremel tool only drilling and cutting metal sheets tool..
 
I have an new angle grinder which would work for you. Used only twice. You can PM me if you want to buy it cheaper than new, but new ones cost about 900 bucks in Chandni Chowk.
 
I think u get a lot of these tools(drilling) on ebay......I beleive u get accessories?(spare parts) to suit the purpose in hardware shops.

That's about the right price for a dremel. It was available in Hypercity DIY section about six months, and it was about 4.8K with some extra heads.
 
You can get a china made set with attachments for 2k odd (mumbai - crawford mkt), usable for some time, but then the quality of the tool starts to show up. If your use is casual look for such, if ur use is pro, then go original.

I'm looking for a Dremel Workstation. Can I pick one up here in Mumbai right away? I need to use a vertical drill press, a small precise one. I do already have a dremel300.

I think perhaps not directly, but you can use the router tool along with a pivoting contraption that will allow you to route a hole 10 cm big into any surface (not too thick) that the router will allow you to make.

Check on the dremel website about which pivoting contraption to use.

If you don't specifically need Dremel brand only,
then KMD has a rotary tool. You may be able to find other rotary tools in your place.
