Which ADSL modem for triband??

Want modem for MTNL Triband (for a friend whose modem died)- Dlink DSL-502T or the likes. :)
How much does a new one come for now and what are the good brands/models to look for?? :P

I use Dlink DSL-502T. Works fine for me, but with one drawback. In summer when ambient temp is over 40C it heats a lot at the bottom and I think it affects my internet connection.
Though not too sure about it.
 
DSL-502T last buy was rs1400 2 monts before
this has 4 rubber modules to be attached at bottoms helps in improving air flow... by the way my friend uses al chepo 80 mmm fan too cool it :P
powered by the dlink adapter :P .. his plug was brocken so even attached the 80mm fam LOL
 
Which is better>
Buffalo WBMR-G54 or Linksys WAG200G?? :P
Prices if possible.
( i hope they are the same class of devices and this question is a valid one. :ashamed:)
 
502t is quite gud i am using it for last 3 years and faced no problems so far...moreover instead of buying the one with your expense i suggest to take the mtnl one and pay the rent in bill it is just RS. 49 and if some problem is their in any point of time mtnl will replace it with a new one. see so simple..
 
go for the buffalo(prolly around 3.3-3.5k) one if its available...but i think availability will be a issue...if u find it...get it...else go for linksys...my frnd bought WAG200G for 3k...iirc prime sells it for 2.75k...

@tushar: dude here in mumbai the rent is 80 bucks not 49 as in delhi...its simply not worth payin 80 bucks every month imo...
