PC Peripherals Which belkin spike buster to go for ?

Superbad

Guide
My pc has some issues with random restarts lately.
Have been using a 4 switch sys guard spike guard since june 2OO1.
Of the reason causing restarts i think the spike buster may be the one too because since the recent hourly blackout which happened some weeks ago i have been experiencing some voltage fluctuations which happen during restarts.
So thinking of buying the belkin one.
The one available locally is white colour one 6 switches costing around 6O5 bucks.
And at ebay the prices vary along 549 to 1549.
So considering my configuration which one would you folks suggest me.
P.S I would be buying one mostly from lamington road so prices from the stores will be welcome.
:)
Thanks in advance.

IMHO the bestbet is Belkin Gold Series 8-Socket Surge Protector which apart from normal sockets comes with RJ45, RJ11 (LAN & telephone line) & cable protection

But 1.5k is too higher price.
Any suggestion which would do the job and yet me will not risking the overall stability of my pc?
BTW are the spike guards from MX any good?

Try out MX, I like their guards as each plug as individual switch...

Belkin has none which has this. Common switch power ups all devices connected even though we dont need it.

Yes the individual switch was unique.
So how is the overall quality of MX?
The one available locally is priced around rs 400.
Good enough?

They are pretty good.

Check out these ones..

MX 4 OUTLET UNIVERSAL SURGE PROTECTOR [ MX 1928 ] - 474 Rs

MX 6 Outlet Universal Surge Protector [ MX 1928B ] - 696 Rs
