Which manufacturer offeres the best bang for the buck pricing in India for the value segment ? If others please post the choice. NVIDIA cards only.

Started this poll as my neighbor was kind enough to give me his 5200 and he wants to get another value card maybe the 6200. But Im not sure which is the best company among the above.

Huh ? Do you know my neighbour? The reason he was so generous in giving me his 5200 is because his bro bought it second hand ! :S

About TE Market Section, I know that its great. Vandal had offered me his ASUS 5700 card for an awesome price. But since I got the 'free' 5200, I had to decline after I accepted his offer.

My neighbour only wants new stuff. I cant complain I got a 5200 for free. :)

I would say XFX. They have a wide presence in India and they are priced lower than the competition.

I would have hesitated buying XFX before. but not any more.

Of course, there is one person I am waiting to see vote :P

But if ytou are looking at premium segment, then depending on availability, it could be Leadtek, Gigabyte, Gainward or Asus.

Ditto.

I had avoided the xfx in past like plague in days og GF4 and GF FX series.

But their GF6 and GF7 series cards, specially pci express range are awasome. They are looking at enthusiast community as well now with different and better coolers on some of their cards. Great warranty support through largest network in the form of Rashi makes it a good buy. One of the best in India. Great value, good support. Thats the priority.

Availability and cost of other brands like MSI, Leadtek is issue even in bigger cities. leave alone smaller areas.

In premium segment i like Gigabyte for their quality.

How is the availability of Gigabyte in Mumbai ? I thought they would be a better buy than XFX. I heard XFX gives lower mem speeds or clock speeds for their low end cards like 5200 ?

these days its dodgy.
Hard to find gigabyte in stock, if anything is available it does not last long :P

Huh ? No votes for MSI , Gigabyte but a vote for BIG ! Hmm seems everybody here likes XFX. Is there anybody who doesnt like XFX ? I didnt like the fact that they provided lower clock speeds on their 5200.

there lower price justify that :)

Leadtek .. its priced lower than XFX in most models .. the only problem is avaiability but that too is getting sorted out these days. XFX models are insanely expensive at times but they do have gr8 support.

Totally OT, but how come most of the 'old' guys here are using avatars of bollywood actors and actresses all of a sudden ?

^^ lol.. its the (unofficial) theme of the week :P check Siggy n Avatar Test thread for complete details on who's who..

getting back to the topic, i wud say XFX for its easy availability and good support. Leadtek wud come second. Asus is very good, but its the most expensive of the lot too
