Storage Solutions Which HDD Dock?

I need to buy HDD dock which can support upto 1.5TB HDDs both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA.

Firewire port will be desirable but not necessary, my xps m1330 has firewire.

My use is weekly system backup and mass storage dump.

I know of these products:

Vantec NexStar eyes closed. The GO which was organised in TE sold the docks like hot cakes. :P
 
Vantec is good, but I believe you'll have to go KMD's way for the same. And AFAIK, the Coolermaster ones are not docks. they are just external casings. And getting one of them is very difficult, at least here in my place. Wait for my review of the Sunbeamtech dock bought from Lynx. The product is in transit now, and probably will be getting it on Monday latest. :P
 
Vantec is nice, it is my first choice.

Since none of the above have firewire as an option and I'm not sure but your XPS does not eSATA, any of the above will be limited by USB speeds. Get any which one depending on vfm and availability.

I can vouch for the NexStar too. Awesome speeds when it comes to eSATA.
