CPU/Mobo Which Procesor is better for Rendering task ?

Hey guys,

Out of these two which one would be better in terms of performance ?

I5 2400, more core the better in rendering....
I think fx 8350 is best for your task..

If you have the budget, Xeons are available for ~15k. They will be solid performer for your intended task.

You may need to sort it price mate. The cheapest is E1220 at 14.5k.

There are other chips available too. I mentioned E 1220 just as an example of starting price on that website.

Actually Harshil is right. It says its a 'V2' 1220. These are newer parts, based on the Ivy bridge architecture. In that case 14.3k is a pretty nice price.

Edit: Small correction, the 1220 doesn't support hyperthreading like the i7, only the 1230 does.
