CPU/Mobo Which SSD is compatible with my motherboard ?

Hello.

I have a query regarding the SSD compatible with my motherboard. The motherboard is an ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING model. There is a SSD slot on the motherboard. It says m.2 (socket3). Now i want to know whether i can use a NVME PCIe X3 or X4 SSD with this? Similar to this one. https://amzn.eu/d/dfnBTqn

The motherboard manual is not very helpful in this regard. Attaching the picture of the motherboard and manual for reference purpose.

Yes the wd ssd in the link will work with your motherboard. In fact almost all ssds will work, just look for 2242/2260/80/110 types.

It was a bit confusing with NGFF, M.2 SATA and m.2 PCI express nomenclature.
