25 July 2018 - Intel i5-8400 Processor was Rs.13800/-
25 Sept 2018 - Intel i5-8400 processor is Rs.19700/-

Not just that.. the 8700k began to drop to 29/27k levels before climbing to 35-37k now

Don't worry, pretty soon, the prices of all hardware will be shooting up. And I think the prices of these CPU's may also have shot up because existing stocks in India must have run out and new stock had to be imported at higher prices.
