Wifi extender. Any suggestions?

Yup, I had flipped the switch and it just hung at 'detecting networks'. This morning however it worked, and my RSSI has gon up from about -80 to -85 without the repeater, to -62 to -66 or so with the repeater, and net access is great where it was previously impossible.

Maybe I'll just get a cheap router to replace this and use this as the repeater.

Shifted the repeater closer to the 'dead spot' and I get RSSI of 48. Seems like this is working great. Thanks #Metalspree.

Got a great Android app - Wifi Analyser. Checked signal strength in my previous dead area. The red is the repeater strength, while the blue is the strength of the original router signal. Works GREAT. Thanks again guys.

Just to follow up on this old question of mine, I am using the N13 as the primary router, and a RT-N12 as a wireless repeater. Gives me coverage over the entire building.

Primary AND repeater are on ground floor now, and I get a signal upto the second floor. So, my brother [who live above me] and I have been sharing a single connection for a while now.
