windows 7 problem

Please help me out.i have partitioned my hdd into 3 parts c,dand e.i had installed windows xp in e drive.Then i installed vista ultimate in c drive.when i booted i had the option of going to vista or xp.but i formatted c and installed windows 7 then there is no option to boot into xp.it directly boots into 7.

....you might need EasyBCD by NeoSmart Technologies. Thats an easy way to go about it. Look here and for the software here

Or you could manually edit the Boot.ini file from MSCONFIG or going to advanced options in System

Doesn't EasyBCD have some repair option or something that can fix such a problem?

^^ According to Win 7 there is no problem at all, so there really is nothing to fix, it has just overwritten your boot.ini and I assume there is no entry for WinXP anymore in it thats why there is an issue. Use EasyBCD it will fix your boot issue,

I totally agree with above suggestions !! Use EasyBCD and add the Xp entry and you are good to go.....

Alternatively you can use Vista Boot Pro,A paid version of EasyBCD with some more options thrown in for good measure !
