Windows Contact File

Hi,

I had an old Hotmail ID for which I forgot password and the answer to retrival of the question.

So gave up on that ID and created another one long back. while cleaning up some old HDD I found a folder which had that old ID and have files with extention called "WindowsLiveContact File" and one cache file called "Contactcollcache".

Tried importing but wont work, is there any software to view these files. Becoz it would help me get back some old contacts which I have lost.

are u trying to access Windows mail contacts or.. just windows live messenger

Try viewing the file with Windows Live Mail: Windows Live Mail

As contactcoll.cache is WLM File

I am not very sure, but I don't think you will be able to open this file type

Mrin ... my fear was what u also said. Read it around net no one has any clue.

Even that Forums isnt giving any answer. I only create a post after doing my best around.
