It is easily possible to build a much cheaper hackintosh, if thats what one's looking for.

actually most pcs run hackintosh...insanely mac forums...and this news is wayy too old..all you need is chip with sse2 or 3..rest components dont matter that much, anyways for the tosh freaks its better to check out insanelymac.
