Yep. Bookstores here sell some of the tpb's for as high as 700 per issue.
Fortunately the entire run is out there on torrents...

Anyone having newspaper strips of i) James Bond by Jim Lawrence & Yaroslav Horak (art), based on Ian Fleming's character, ii) Secret Agent Corrigan by Archie Goodwin & Al Williamson (art) in hdd ? Also, graphic novels like iii) Alex Toth's Zorro & iv) Lieutenant Blueberry (Metheun/Egmont) 4 issue mini series in hdd ?

no color printers within easy access at office :p
No I mean at Bandra station or something, a b&w laser printout on bond paper will cost ya 1 buck, cheaper to get it printed....

I have the whole WoT series in Paperback (except the 10th one which is in hardcover). Also have the whole George Martin, A song of ice and fire series in paperback (Ice and fire series is actually better than every other fantasy book I've read and I do include most of Tolkien in it), ditto for the Sword of truth series from Terry Goodkind and the whole Memory, Sorrow & Thorn series from Terry Goodkind (seriously underrated).

They are easy to get hold of in Delhi, if you know someone who lives there I can recommend a couple of shops where you can get pretty much most of the Fantasy stuff. They are not terribly expensive either. 220 on an average for a paperback.

uhhh...everything in my collection is around 100/book and in pretty good condition :p

bangalore rules in this respect

if only i had money when i went to bangi last month *sigh*

Hmm I can't find good used books if they are Sci fi or fantasy for love or money. All they have in Delhi as far as used ones go are John Grishams and the like. Mind you they are good condition.

Sometimes I do run across some good deals though. Bought 4 books of the Dune series for 500 total (about 125 a peice) at a street vendor near a PVR. A while back got hold of three Stephen Donaldson books for a couple of hundred rupees. It has been months since I saw anything remotely intresting other wise. I think we are getting off topic though. :)

I am about halfway through the V for Vendetta series by Moore. He is not half bad. I prefer most of Millers stuff to Moore TBH.

Well we derailed the sh*t out of this thread.
