WTB - Super Cheap desktop

I need a super cheap desktop
Need to use it as a special purpose router
Anything over (and including) a P III will do

Dont need monitor/KB/Mouse etc...
Just the box alone

any old box that you may have which is currently lying in a corner gathering dust would actually be adeuate for this need..
just one catch..it needs to have USB 2.0 and ethernet

Maybe you can get atom combo for 4K around and 512 ram and 40-80 gb hdd..

all this for 6-8k

Forgot to mention that this system need to sit outside in my balcony and will be exposed to the elements

too powerful and power hungry re..this thing needs to act as a EVDO gateway alone and will run 24X7

dont have a cabby, otherwise E6300 + P5ne SLI + 2GB Patriot 800Mhz ram + 160GB Seagate HDD = 7k, guess costlier than ur budget and still doesnt serve the whole purpose.

I *may* sell my D201GLY board if I mange to get a WD Mybook world edition. Comes with 512mb ram and 160gb IDE hdd. Will keep you posted about this, if you are interested.
