What SSD did you put in that? MX500 1TB? Now that you removed it,does that mean it only has a 1TB HDD now? So previously it was with a 1TB HDD+1TB SSD?

I had put a WD SSD I don't remember it exactly but i can look it up if required.. It has 1 TB HDD Original drive now.. I can put SSD for additional cost.. So a thought crossed my mind to remove the optical drive and replace with HDD or SSD but the power connector is proprietary so unfortunately not possible :(
 
I have put back the SSD.. will sell this or also have a Series X.. cant keep both.. Performance is similar after upgrading the SSD so i dont mind keeping either

The series X is substantially powerful than one X. Even with the SSD, the series X will simply blow away the one x with raw GPU power.

Keep the series X and sell this one.

PS - would like to buy the SSD separately if thats up for sale.

So if you check out this video the differences with Series S and one X are almost same.. One X is better with SSD (This guy had external, I have it inside so even better) .. so wondering

Oh you have the series S.

I was comparing it series X. Indeed The ONE X is slightly better to the Series S, especially at 4K.
 
@Dileep Nagesh - out of topic.
But how does one install the SSD. I mean do you have to make partition on the drive prior to installation? or you simply swap the HDD with SSD and reinstall the system software ?
