CPU/Mobo xeon e3-1230v3 vs i5 4670(nonK) for a B85 MB

Hi,

I have bought a Gigabyte GA-B85-D3H mobo (costs 5.5K).I am looking for good performance when running VMWARE workstation/Esxi and GNS3.Which one will serve me better.2000 extra for Xeon is worth it?Pl suggest.And normal corsair value select rams would be good enuff ?

You are going to run VMware, i5 has built in GPU, while Xeon does not

Gigabyte B85M-D3H is best suited to Xeon E3 1230 v3 Processor and is very worthy. Corsair Value Select Rams are also good enough for such a Mobo.

would u term r9 270x or nvidia 760 gtx as good cards? n are more compatible with 1230?
