Can any Delhi members verify this dealer? They r putting up claims like Rashi is no longer distributing XFX n that they r the sole dealers in the country:rofl:

Link to orkut forum : orkut -

P.S. : Well, this aint any IC or a GO. So, cudn't find the rite place to put this up. Mods plz move it to the appropriate section if necessary

They r putting up claims like Rashi is no longer distributing XFX n that they r the sole dealers in the country

this is pure crap....Rashi is exclusive distri for ASUS n XFX......and the prices are insane....
or may be these guys having soem JHOLWALA MAAL or these ppl are JHOLSTERS

actually RASHI aint the exclusive distri of XFX. Here in Kolkata we have Akshay enterprises distributing xfx cards n motherboards since 2007. Infact my last 2 cards have been from Akshay.
I also thnk the dealer is bogus

rashi is certainly not the exclusive dealer of XFX but this infomedia seems to be crap, a quick search on google for infomedia doesnt yield any result for any sort of distributor or computer company........

if this is true then no india warranty...........some gy most have imported it and now he is selling off.

When asked Rashi about this price. The dealer told me , if that price is correct .. he'd give me two cards for free. (Obviously that price has to be inclusive of all taxes and stuff , no hidden costs)

And yes , Rashi still DEALS in XFX!

Guys its probably a typo! the person meant to write 14500..

This is even lower than the distr rate :S

it will be great if someone from delhi can contact them face to face and check out the truth. 11.5k is really not bad for a 4890 :P

Its as good as buying from kmd but a lot cheaper.

Get hand to hand deal in Delhi to verify product and dealer.

XFX Radeon HD 4890 .. Rs 11500 looks killer deal if dealer is not bogus.

will try to call him on monday or better still let me try to call him now and check.......

Edit : Had a talk, can have a hand to hand deal, stocks not in but(according to him, he had it and they got sold), will get them in 3-4 days. Lets see.....

Service Centres, they have their own.(this is highly doubtful, no1 can open up a dealership and have their service center open up in a day and that too nowhere close to Nehru Place). But I am keeping my fingers crossed

This infomedia guy sounds 100% BOGUS. I just had a li'l chat with him- and he couldn't have been any more fake with his answers. He does not have a website yet. He does not have a store yet. He is not connected with Rashi or any of their distributors. He wants me to pay up in advance (laughable!). But he promises to send me a bill with full warranty and service at HIS (non existent) workshop.

Well one thing is for sure- he just lost me :/

I called him too...His office is in Rajauri Garden and emphasizes on that he is baap of all distributors and dealers

Must have imported the stuffs and hilarious thing is that he offers lifetime warranty on XFX and BFG cards :ohyeah:

Just to update, a non TE frnd phoned em up and confirmed that he was said that the cards wud carry US warranty only, and that the customers will have to pay arnd $20 for RMA.

See, he is ready for a hand to hand deal, you can check the card then and there, if it works atleast I am ok with even a non-existent warranty. You cant simply beat the price if the cards are working..........

Saving 2.5k for a 4890 isnt worth it IMO, might as well buy with local warranty. And anwyay he dosent seem geniune, who knows if he'll actually RMA it for you, and it'll sure as hell cost a lot more than 20$

Gotta be a typo. Like this one: Powercolor 4890 1GB for 9350!!!

what is it worth only 14k in retail???, yes then I agree its not worth to take such a risk.....but then even @ 14k its an amazing value for money product.......
