Graphic Cards XFX 8800GT Apha Dog Edition : Parted Horizontal screen all over the screen

Hello guys;

My System suddenly started behaving wierd and hanged;

Trying using ctrl+alt+del, not helped, so restarted the system and damn horizontal parted lines all over the screen in the startup, with wierd ! ! ! ! here and there, plus the startup message appearing wierd and at very start showing 513 MB SAM damn.

The system tends to start up in safe mode, but as I start in normal model, it goes to blue memory dump screen!!

I asssume, its a Graphics card issue, what you guys suggest what to do now.
Bought the graphics card in 28/6/2008 so I am still covered.

Waiting for your suggestion.

Okay, I gave the Graphics card for RMA today to Rashi, Chennai!!
Talked to Mumbai Headoffice before hand yesterday, and he conferenced us to Chennai person (who was having issue as of the Card been baight from Bangalore, hence serial not showing in there local record).Seems, as of the influence due to talk from Headoffic, he was ready to politely accept the card immediately. The service person checked it and realised its faulty evenytually. They are meanwhile checking for it viabilitY of sales through Rashi`s International database server : which they told is down then(which it will verified eventually cause my box on the move from home has Rashi sticked over it)

Now, it seems they have good no of plain 8800GT graphics card, however mine is the overclocked Alpha Dog Edition(which they dont have ofc, cause it was a special edition :P), which at the point of purchase was even costlier that 9600 GT. So I wanted to ask you guys, in the absence the Alpha Dog Edition card, minimum for which model I should pursue and negotiate for which atleast is equally good or higher feature wise (with ofc good popularity and no failures in it)

I heard the 9600GT cards had higher failure rates and brought very bad reputation to the comopany.
Please advice kinda fast cause, as it see on confirmation of sales via serial no the manager there is pretty ready to give me the new card by tommorrow!!

Mhh, they are having many 8800GT normal cards in stock bearing model no: PV-T88P-512-YHF4; which has stock RF2 fan on the GPU.
The bugger was trying to RMA that for my awesome card bearing model no : PV-T88P-512-YSF4 having cooler cum heatsink on the GPU.

Well it seems, I can`t get a new generation card still I am pursuing to get atleast what I had earlier which they seem to have in other branch
(thankyou all for makig my hopes high :[ )

I have attached pics of the two models respectively.
Now, time to wait while they move the card to chennai branch.
 
^You can definitely persuade them to give you an upgrade if you can pay them the differences. IIRC some of the forum members could do so.

Yeah, we are talking of Rashi here. :P
 
Well, I settled down with same card :D

Took them time to transport it from Hubli, Karnataka to Chennai. Have to push Gati guys personally to make sure I get it altleast on Saturday!!
