The "APPLE of China" as it is popular in some places had plans of expanding their business across the globe as we have seen on the internet over a couple of weeks, but what came as a shock to me was the price at which they launched their flagship phone in India.
Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has launched its first smartphone in the Indian market, the
Xiaomi Mi 3. The phone is priced at ₹14,999 ($250) and will go on sale on July 15. Most probably it is gonna be available through Flipkart only and also 15 July might be only the date when you could pre-book it. Well, we would have to wait and see what is gonna happen on that date.
The most interesting thing here is the specs and price of the phone.
The phone packs a 5.0-inch, 1920x1080 resolution IPS panel from LG or Sharp, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC with quad-core 2.3GHz CPU and Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage (non-expandable), 13 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, 3050mAh battery and MIUI 5 on Android 4.3.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8274AB has one of the highest performing CPUs with a maximum clock speed of 2,265 MHz. It has 4 core(s), resulting in extremely efficient multi-tasking when compared to dual core processors.
Although I am in love with Motorola and Lumias, this phone is gonna give the flagships a run for their money so there is no way Moto and Lumia could stand in between me and Xiaomi.
And for those who are too lazy
Also the phone is gonna have the google playstore which was forsaken for the Chinese Market.
And a review so you can postpone your mobile purchase for this.
The only problem I can see here is the limited storage and hope that they launch the 64 gig version soon and somewhat below 20k. Yeah, and the camera too is a problem[DOUBLEPOST=1404889881][/DOUBLEPOST]lol
