PC Gaming ... Personally , the whole experience of gaming on a PC has always been better than the xbox and ps2 . Upgrading hardware is the most troubling part in terms of expenses for the PC , but thats the charm and part of experince of true PC gaming .

ive been gaming since days of ZX Spectrum and always enjoyed playing a game on the monitor with keyboard and mouse. ps2 and xbox somehow doesnt create the same 'fun' as PC gaming does :D

PC :D For the simple reason that I cannot ask my dad to buy PS3 as well. And PC is an allrounder.

Games are equally good on both platforms. Always liked PS2 games as much as PC games. But the rigidness of the platform (which is a good thing for the cheap & easy crowd) and next to zero potential is a big turnoff.
Console games don't suck, the consoles do (atleast for anyone who has high enough standards to be able appreciate an overall superior experience without moaning about upgrade costs and hw/sw issues).

PCs are definitely the better platform for playing ALL types of games.
Games and gameplay are equally good/bad everywhere.

Well PC for now as of now...........since the PC already has next gen looking games right now. Wanted to vote for the ps3 as well but its been receiving a lot of bad press and sony rightly deserves it. After a bunch of pre-rendered videos there has been absolutely no news for it. Sad part is all my favourite franchises are on the ps3. I really hope Sony doesn't botch it up totally. My take is Whole new architecture(Read cell)+Expensive untired tech(BluRay)+speculation of higher pricing + bad press could very well bode misfortune for Sony.
As for the xbox 360, it isnt getting any good exclusives right now to warrant a purchase.

Yeah, can't find a single X360 game out yet that looks even as good as the 2 year old Farcry. Only promos exist and by the time the final games come out, PCs will have gone far ahead as always.
When PDZ (a supposedly nex-gen title) looks worse than 2 year old PC games, I don't know what to say...
I said that on day one, same thing happened with the PS2 when the emotion engine was being hyped out of proportion.

As for the gameplay, it's at an equal level on both platforms which is good enough but unfortunately nowhere where it should be after 20 years worth of advances in the electronic entertainment field.
Rarely does an original idea like Deus Ex, B&W, Warcraft3, GTA3, Kotor and Fahrenheit come along, then nothing but mediocrity or remakes most of the time.

Teach your philosophy in the PC Console board Saumil.
For me, it'll be either Ps3 or X360.

Simply because they'll be getting 90% of PC games as ports plus more exclusives. Resident Evil 5 and Metal Gear Solid 4 isn't coming out for the PC, but Half Life 3 and Doom4 are going to the consoles. Would be happy to invest 30k on it and stick with it for next 10 years.

hehe...PC anytime...cause i can always update it when i want it...and i really cant play with the gamepads of the consoles...dunno how people play FPS's with those..:S

PC obviously.

It has more games than i can play. It has more quality games than i can play so that is enough for me.

Upgrading gives me better features and eye candy in near future. I love this part of the PC.

I dont care if we dont get the console exclusive games, as long as there are games that pleases me on the PC i am happy :)

And yeah, nothing beats good old mouse and keyboard :p

PC, PC and PC... Oh i 4got the mention PC.

Console gfx will never be able to keep up with PC graphics anyways.

Also, its more convenient playing ANY game on a PC, rather than a Console.

Plus, rather than spending 350 - 500 Dollars on a Console, id rather buy Better parts for my PC.

Buying a console to play is more about economy and no-hassle gaming.

You buy the console once, put a game in and play. No upgrades, no virus, no patch. A console is maybe 1/5 of the price of a PC.

That's what I like about consoles. I can't imagine buying a new graphics card every 2 years, more memory, monitor or hard drive every now and then. It's just too much.

I used to be a PC gamer, but not anymore. Most of the time, the minimal requirement is not good enough to fully enjoy the game anyway... Lastly, the Xbox 360 shows that it's not only about power, but gameplay. You can have the most powerful PC out there, but if there's not enough AAA titles, then that power goes to waste.

favorites are fps's, RTS's and RPG's....PC's do these better....

But with the correct dose of game design a console could do it too....

I'd go with a PC first and a PS3 second....

Almost all XboX games are also designed for PC so that 1 I could do without.

awaited titles:

Mass effect, NWN 2, Oblivion, STALKER, Max Payne 3 (hopefully farcry 2)....

PC any day...
The flexibility it gives can be beaten by none. The various things your PC can do,is never gonna be possible for any Console to do.

Also Games for PC are more in nos. and come out fast also.

I am not a gamer so doesnt make sense to go for a console..
Just my 2 cents.
