Seems they are going to devalue zomato gold even further very soon and that's why trying to get as many users as possible

So that post devaluation they can reduce the loss in sales.. And hence the share prices

Honestly, the membership is futile. You pay inflated menu prices and Zomato/Swiggy take at least 20-30% of the order value anyway, on top of which you have the platform fees.

It is a bit unfortunate that the ONDC apps didn't pick up as much since it is much cheaper if restaurants discount prices by 15-20% and use delivery services instead.

Over the past few months, have significantly cut down on these apps and only use the 1+1 offers or bank discounts.
