ZTE has announced their new smartphone, the ZTE U950. What's really special about this smartphone is that it packs a quad core CPU, the quad core nVidia Tegra 3 chipset (which is the same as the HTC One X, by the way). But wait? How is that special? Well that's because this smartphone comes with an ultra affordable (for a quad core, or a dual core for that matter) price tag of just $160. Read on to know more.

The ZTE U950 is not the firm's first quad core. However, this is by far the firm's cheapest (and world's cheapest) quad core smartphone. We have to mention something special about ZTE. While the smartphone doesn't pack an HD display or 2 GB of RAM, that would be foolish to expect in the first place from a device at this price range.
