Whats the current status of the card guys? Is it working for international transactions? If not do we have any alternative available?
Not sure of the current status, but I started using NiyoX which has partnered with equitas bank. Has 0 forex markup. But also has yearly charges (200+gst if I remember correctly)

This is still the current status. International transactions (except online payment) will keep working till 15th March. I did use it abroad last month and it was working.

IDFC Wow is a decent alternative. Though it's a secured credit card. Zero Foreign Currency Conversion Charges, Visa Forex Rates are decent and close to spot, 1% reward rate and visa infinite with no charges.

Edit: It's 0.75% reward rate for new customers.

Is NiyoX which is partnered with equitas bank also going to stop working after 15th March? Or just Niyo Global which is partnered with SBM bank?

I have a International trip upcoming in May and looking for a Zero Forex Card.

No, the restrictions are just for SBM bank and its digital products.

One card credit card (backed by SBM) has 1% forex charges. But you get back 1% as rewards effectively making it 0%. There's no restrictions on OneCard. And yes, credit cards can't withdraw money from ATM. So keep that in mind.

They keep spamming to get an FD based credit card.

Should I close this account?

Any other options?

I've been using IDFC Wow for the past couple of days abroad and it's been great. Paying the exact same amount as I see on Google. The app works well (better than Niyo) too.

Can I use this card to purchase Tidal subscription posing from Argentina? As other cards ( Normal CC/DC) are not RBI compliant hence payments don't go through.

I have been using the zero forex IndusInd debit cards for several years and it has been working great. Of course, as against FD for IDFC Wow, here you will need a SB account.

Niyo is just a hopeless intermediary. They have now added 199+GST renewal fees on the card. Anyway, I spoke to my Equitas RM and he suggested to close and move to one of their normal Savings account because Niyo interferes too much in the partner account.
