Thanks for the reply dude. Right now, we are just a family of two. So, what capacity do you think would suit us? And what is a motorized rotisserie? As mentioned, my wife would be using it to bake cakes mainly. Any idea about morphy richards?

@techno guy- i realise that the monte is around 8.5k. But the OP is willing to shell out up to 8k for features like GPS and wifi, both of which monte has. Seems a better choice to me to get the monte than settle for something less.

Any reason for avoiding touch screens? IMO a capacitive touch screen is a pleasant experience. Ask your friend to try the samsung monte at some mobile store. I'm sure she'll be impressed.

Am planning to buy an OTG for my wife, who is interested in baking stuff. We are veggies though, so no tandoori chicken kind of stuff. What am i supposed to look for when buying the OTG? Am planning to spend around 3 to 3.5k for the same. Any brand suggestions?

The NEX is in a totally different class from the others. It won't be a compact though, once you mount the lenses on it. On the other hand, both the HX5 and LZ7/TZ10 are excellent compacts. The hx5 has a CMOS sensor, so theoretically it should take better low light photos. Practically, both are...

To me, it appears more of a hardware issue than a problem with the OS per se. Check your hdd and RAMs as already mentioned.

What is the capacity you are looking at? At 20k, you can easily get one of those 5 star rated fridges. Look for something among panasonic or godrej. Hitachi is good too, but i'm not sure if they have something in your budget.

The Fujifilm AV100 was the cheapest HD video recording digicam that I could find. It retails at Rs.4500 at ebay. Will fit in your original ideal world budget too. :P

Agreed with the resource utilization part. I've been trying quite a few AVs/ISs in the past few months (all trial versions or free keys like this one) and I found bitdefender to be quite a resource hog. In my experience, MSE and Avira were least resource intensive, followed by KIS. Anyways...

I too think that it is not possible to unmix. With mp3 it is almost impossible. At the most you will be able to remove certain frequencies to achieve the desired effect.
