Android phone for development purpose

Hi guys,

i am looking for a used android mobile in good condition for development purpose on the platform.

Should be with all the accessories and following features:

- 3G

- WiFi

- Bluetooth

- MicroSD card support

- 3.5 mm earphone connection

- Resolution of 320X480 or better

Budget: 9K ... Now 10K Max.

I know Galaxy 5 is available at around this rate, but its specs, especially resolution is not so good, and most other new mobiles are way beyond my budget.

ur budget is less or else could have sent u a n1 for 20k .. getting an n1 on the 7th from the US

Thanks for the suggestions. N1 would have been the best choice if I had that kind of budget.
Right now, I am not able to spend too much on this :ashamed:

Look for used HTC Dream/G1s or Magic. Apart from their Screen Res, they are quite popular dev phones ....

why not use their SDK and the emulator?. why need the phone exact?

Have been using their SDK for some time. Would also like to test apps on the "real" thing, as the next step.

Of course, I might use the android phone as a regular phone also (in case I am not able to go far with development ;) ).

@rahul21, thanks.. but at the moment I am unable to extend my budget by more than 1 K.

May be after Diwali I will be able to arrange more. If so, I will contact you.
