Audio Any Music related item as Gift for a friend

In a few days my friend gonna celebrate his birthday and we planned to get him gift.He loves music especially "Hard Rock"(Metallica) so please suggest any music related item which we can present to him:hap2:.

Price range is 1-1.5k and he loves Hard rock:) ....it may be

1.A 2.1 Sound system for his computer(he has only speakers,his family is very orthodox :S)
2.Good headset or ear buds as he still listens with his motorola mobile:rofl:
3.A music player

If you had any more suggestions please suggest before May 5.........thanksss
 
If he is a Metallica fan then maybe original set of some collectors edition audio CDs etc or some Metallica T-shirt ;).

A good pair of earphones .

A portable MP3 player like Sansa Clip+ (beyond your current budget)
 
You should try Speaker's or T-shirt's . But go for the one he doesn't have yet.

If you're in Chennai you can visit "Dollars N Pounds". They've got every other Hard Rock Tee's in there. AC/DC,pantera,Mettalica,Megadeth ...you name it.
