If you are planning on this then make sure that this UPS has single 12V battery. Thus it's efficiency is low compared to 1100VA model UPS.Is this still on??

It has 2 24V 7Ah batteries. I got mine delivered yesterday. If you are planning on this then make sure that this UPS has single 12V battery. Thus it's efficiency is low compared to 1100VA model UPS.
Ohh okay. You are right. Sorry my bad. I think they revised the product data sheet. I have the same model with 1 battery. I checked their datasheet now and it shows 24V at this time.It has 2 24V 7Ah batteries. I got mine delivered yesterday.
Can you please confirm? APC datasheet shows 24V 7Ah battery but doesn't say it has twoIt has 2 24V 7Ah batteries. I got mine delivered yesterday.
The user manual that came with the UPS says it has 2 batteries. Can you please confirm? APC datasheet shows 24V 7Ah battery but doesn't say it has two
It might have 2 x 12V 7Ah batteries in Series. As I have seen in many UPS. I currently have total 3 UPS. All of 3 has same configuration. 12V 7Ah x 2 = 24V 7Ah bettery. Can you please confirm? APC datasheet shows 24V 7Ah battery but doesn't say it has two
Did you get a chance to test the amount of wattage it is able to handle? they claim it can support up to 900W but I highly doubt that..The user manual that came with the UPS says it has 2 batteries.
It's 2x 12V batteries. Not 24v. There's typo in the manual.It has 2 24V 7Ah batteries. I got mine delivered yesterday.
Yeah, why not? If it says 900W, it'll be able to handle that sustainably. It should be handle more than 900W too but for a short amount of time.Did you get a chance to test the amount of wattage it is able to handle? they claim it can support up to 900W but I highly doubt that..
Not tested with 900W, but somewhere around 600W.Did you get a chance to test the amount of wattage it is able to handle? they claim it can support up to 900W but I highly doubt that..

One thing to note is that this UPS is *very* noisy, even when it is running on AC power. So unless someone really needs the 1600VA capacity, I wouldn't recommend it.
