I've created a build : https://pcpricetracker.in/b/s/b3fafc39-7039-498d-b37e-cd5f9035fda8
Extremely confused with the mobo pick : whether it should be a 450, 520 or 550m
Also confused with PSU's and the cabinet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • GPU - RX 5704gb (already had will upgrade later in the year to rx6750 or rx6700)
  • RAM - 8GB x 2 DDR4 corsair vengeance lpx new for 3.5k (not bought waiting for amazon sale)
  • SSD - 500gb Samsung 970 evo plus 3k (not bought waiting for amazon sale)
  • Cabinet - Corsair 4000D or Lian Li 216(6.5 and 8.5k respectively) (not bought confused and waiting for amazon sale)
  • PSU - Corsair Mwe 850 watt for 5.5k (used with 3 years warranty)

    Total : 36k-38k
Could you please provide me feedback if this build is good, if i overspent or underspent on parts I know went overbudget to a 40k build but I am getting 7k for my previous pc, so that helps offset it a bit. Thank you

Looks good

Pylon is a low tier PSU. Other PSUs like Cooler Master MWE Bronze or Deepcool PM Gold series are much better while being in the same price range.

Buy used, everything.....ssd are cheaper right now so u can get them new....rest u can find used cheaper easily.....olx or facebook.....if u want i can share u some whatsapp group links for buying used stuff

Config selected looks good. A few suggestion basis my experience

- Upgrade to rx6700/6650xt from rx570 if buying new. Price difference between RX6600 and 6700 is marginal. If possible aim for 10GB or higher VRAM version

- PSU is a criticial component . Ideally should look at Tier B or C PSU. While it might be costlier, it would also outlast most of other PC compnents . If you plan to upgrade to Rx6600XT , 850W PSU will be overkill. 650W should be more than sufficient with enough headroom for any occasional spikes.

- Check RAM compatibility with the motherboard that you plan to install upon. Many unlisted memory modules may not work at all or have limited functionality. In my case 2x8GB Kingston 3200Mhz worked fine with a Gigabyte B450 motherboard in XMP mode while Gskill didnot.
