A840 says processor T2390 ... your spec T1400 ...can you clarify please
 
^^^^^^^^The T1400 is a dual core celeron. Not very powerful.

@kippu: Dell models do come with different configs available. THis is proably the cheapest one available.
No offense to the OP, but the Acer 4530 is probably still a better buy in this segment.
