Hi,
I am using Z906 with my pc for last 2 years+. Speakers are good enough but I am having problems nowadays when shifting between headphones and speakers. I do not get sound in all 5 speakers sometimes, also Sonic Studio is a mystery for me, sometimes with some settings while watching movie, I can hear music with a great volume but I cannot hear any dialogues, also has to use 'Reverb' option to get audible sound.
Can anyone help me out with proper settings? Using Asus X370 f ROG Strix motherboard what has got 7.1 audio channel on board, do I need a distinct sound card that will boost speaker performance significantly? It has got no PCI interface so PCIe X1 is the only option for an add on card.
Also, I need proper 5.1 for movies and games. I read that using optical will compress the audio quality for 5.1 channel.
