Hi as the title says do you need rfid wallet or rfid protection sleeves to protect credit cards these days or its safe to carry them in normal wallets

AFAIK, RFID credit or debit cards are almost non-existent in India. We have chip based cards, or NFC cards. RFID is mostly used in Fastag, and also for uses like inventory tagging. To answer your query, no, RFID protection sleeves for credit/debit cards are not needed.
 
Besides some TikTok videos, Am yet to see someone go around crowded places holding a large POS machine and casually booping people's rear pockets.

I have those Storite card sleeves, they are large and don't fit inside your wallet properly, and lastly, they are just plastic sleeve crap. They use to cost Rs. 160.

I would suggest investing in a good wallet that comes built-in RFID layer.
