CPU/Mobo Dual Channel memory architecture VS triple channel memory architecture

Is triple channel,more powerful than Dual Channel?:huh:
And the Sandy Bridge or 1366 or (1366+a powerful gpuhyeah
which is better?

Architecture meh..

Triple channel adds 50% bandwidth at same speed memory chips.

aka 2x2GB DDR3 1333 MHz C7 (say) at dual channel and 3x2GB DDR3 same same will give theoretical 50% improvement in bandwidth

But if you see real world results, and the fact that Sandy Bridge thrashes Nehalem with dual channel, there isn't much distinction left.
