Adding this coupon: Price: 1199/- (roughly 50% of cover price). Good deal though,

But dont know too well is it worth that bit for the CCP job they do.
worst case scenario> Click on the CHECK DELIVERY OPTIONS tab and enter your PINCODE, It simply refuse and give a message saying "WE DO NOT SHIP YOUR PRODUCT TO -<PINCODE>", what is this?

Magazines have become outdated because of the internet. Who wants to read last months Tech news in a magazine? Just follow The Verge, Engadget and Ars Technica and you will get everything. For hardware, there is always Anandtech...

I was a long time reader of CHIP, then Digit... Read it for many years since 1999... But ended subscription a few years ago... Recently, I bought Digit's December 2011 special issue, but was sorely disappointed. Magazines just cannot keep up with the speed with which things are changing...

Nice just when my subscription ends in Feb.

To all those who were wondering:

Both Chip and Digit are equally good. But reviews in Digit are better. Articles are good in both but some of the Chip ones are memorable. You will have to try out both and see which one suits your style. That's all there is to it. Don't let others decide for you :)

Whenever I read them during my visit to library, I lol for a second for the kind of content they deliver, not particular to digit but to all publications out there.

Their testing criteria is so jagged up. Sheer waste of money, I won't even read if they deliver it for free :p

I stopped reading Digit (and before than when it was called Chip) long time back. The CD/DVD they give used to be total crap (still is ??? )
