Sir can u plz do the math for me.......u paid approx 397$ for it todays $ exchange rate is 53.37 plus 3.5% plus 12.36 service tax on conversion, plus shipping and customs.

I'm not sure about the extra tax you are talking about.. the $397 is the final price including all taxes. if you ship it using PPO they charge like $22-25.

$397 = 21102
$25 = 1328 (includes customs I believe)

And to to be absolutely sure my HDFC Credit Card got charged Rs. 21,381/-
(includes conversion charges also)
 
Add 3.5% plus 12.36%service tax on the conversion fee it will come to 55.30 or something like that, When u use ur CC directly banks charges the conversion charges later.

Oh.. thanks for head up :) .. I wasnt aware of that.

The $33 tax was enough shock for me .. so didnt consider anything beyond that.
Any way it should still be under 22k .. phew :)

Let me give u one more shock some members were charged around 2k for Duty also so add that also, HEHEH ;p





Kidding should not go over 1.5k so final lending cost to ur place will be between 23.2k to 24k

Guys when I am trying to create the Unique package ID it is telling me to enter the courier type ...I have not ordered yet then how will i know using which courier the Google playstore will ship the nexus 4 :(

And should I opt for the Insurance which comes around 2% of the total value ?

I am trying to place the order but I have been stuck up at Google wallet only :(

When I m adding the credit card details at Google wallet , I should add the billing information as mine US PPO address right ??
Correct me if I am wrong as doing this international transaction for the first time :(
