I currently have a WD 750GB hdd, and i would like to upgrade to a 1 TB. I need it now for portability, so thinking of buying an external.
What would be a better option :
1. Internal HDD + external casing like CM = 5.8k(i guess)-> with esata&firewire
2. External HDD with the same features
About the warranty, both WDC and Seagate sell HDD's in India with 5 year warranties. In other countries they mostly have 3 year warranties. So If I go to another country, what warranty would be honoured?
