i have a similar Question...so i am..posting the screenshots of CPUZ

it shows .

.my bus speed is 137.in the screenshot .while on the box of the processor is 555mhz..so what is the actual FSB of the processor ?

also what is the RAM speed..actly..what i have is the 512 ddr 400 mhz one..but due to mobo issue..it runs at low spped so whats tht low speed ? 200mhz ?

also is dual channel config..supported by my mobo ?

can i overclock..my processor..in the bios setup..there is an option to chng the value of bus..frm anywhere between 133-200 mhz..X 18. so can i really chng.the value and overclock ?once..i tried..but the monitor stopped working..so brought it back to default....is it due to crap..and old mobo ?

>>>my bus speed is 137.in the screenshot .while on the box of the processor is 555mhz..so what is the actual FSB of the processor ?

555 is the effective FSB

>>>also what is the RAM speed..actly..what i have is the 512 ddr 400 mhz one..but due to mobo issue..it runs at low spped so whats tht low speed ? 200mhz ?

From your screenshot it seems your memory is running at 137 Mhz , even though it supports 200Mhz , most probably your mobo doesnt support over frequencies over 137Mhz (effective = 137 x 2 = 266, since its a DDR)

>>also is dual channel config..supported by my mobo ?

I dont think so

>>can i overclock..my processor..in the bios setup..there is an option to chng the value of bus..frm anywhere between 133-200 mhz..X 18. so can i really chng.the value and overclock ?once..i tried..but the monitor stopped working..so brought it back to default....is it due to crap..and old mobo

True, may be your motherboard isnt good enough to get it overclocked.
