I have got a "Windows 7 Virtual Machine" and also a “Linux Virtual Machine” both created in Vmware Workstation. They have got all my software installed in them so that I can use them as my main operating system. I carry both these Virtual Machines inside a Portable Hard Drive, so that I can work from any PC or Laptop.
Now I am thinking about the possibility of somehow HOSTING these 2 virtual machines online, so that I do not have the need to carry them along. That way I will be able to log in into my Virtual Machines from anywhere using the Remote Access Method.
If you guys have any information about how to implement this idea practically, then please share your input. I would like to know what are the various options available to us in this regards and what are the probable costs.
