Thinking of downloading "Housefull" from the internet for a free view? Beware! Director Sajid Khan says he has used an anti-piracy software to make sure there are no illegal downloads of the film.

Sajid said that "Housefull" has used an anti-piracy and corruption software called Republique to avoid illegal downloading on the Internet.

"If anyone tries downloading it, not only will the files get corrupted but their IP address too will pop up and they will be prosecuted with all charges against them as per the anti-piracy law," he said.

"We even have a call centre in Mumbai with 35 people on board monitoring the illegal downloading of the film. We've tested the process too and it worked wonders in five seconds," he added.

Sajid was here at the DT Cinemas, DLF Promenade Tuesday evening to promote "Housefull". Also present with him was the star cast of the movie including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal, Deepika Padukone and Jiah Khan.

Lara Dutta who also plays a pivotal role in the movie did not make it to the event. Releasing Friday, the movie has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Wah wah. Even hollywood was not able to stop piracy with fully implemented anti-corruption laws.

Plus, they added the extra L at the end so that it won't show up in search engines when people search for Houseful.

Further News on This!

Sajid said that "Housefull" has used an anti-piracy and corruption software called Republique to avoid illegal downloading on the Internet.

The new Republique software detects the illegal download and cancels the download immediately rendering the criminal helpless and shocked (in awe)!

"If anyone tries downloading it, not only will the files get corrupted but their IP address too will pop up and they will be prosecuted with all charges against them as per the anti-piracy law," he said.

The above technology is indeed state of the art that invades the downloading machine and corrupts specifically the 'Housefull' movie files (why files??? ) and also pops the ip address opening the downloader to all prosecution charges and even possibly arson/murder charges!

"We even have a call centre in Mumbai with 35 people on board monitoring the illegal downloading of the film. We've tested the process too and it worked wonders in five seconds," he added.

This 5 seconds is very important! Please make note. Any more time and the downloader would have downloaded the movie and disconnected by than preventing the software from capturing the criminal!!

Is he really this ignorant or has he planned to host the files on his own servers ? How can his software catch those downloads which are not even on a single server (torrents) ? How will it detect RS/HF/MU links and how will it know that it is a copy of Housefull ?
