I was wondering if it would be possible to get VT+ enabled C2D or Quad under 8k. Everywhere they seems to have non-VT enabled models like e4600, e7200 etc... and the older Q6600 they price it over 10k :( .

list of VT supported processors
  • E8200, 8300, 8400 & E8500
  • E6550, 6600, 6700, 6750 & E6850
    older
  • T9500, 9300 & T8300

e8400 is avail for 7.5k in bangalore

e8500 should be around 8.5k there..

hang on for a coupla weeks and these prices will reflect in the rest of the country.

Q6600 was 224$, 9.5k in India before price drops, now they have dropped 31$ more, U can grab it now @ approx 8.4k (if price change implemented in UR city)

many thanks, err... which one is the cheapest ?

^^SidhuPunjab, do you have any problems with Abit IP35-E ? how about their service ?. I'm interested in IP35 Pro.

Never experienced Abit service, in India its distri is Tirupati, good reputation,

But P35 is outdated now, only buy it if looking for budget mobo, in ethusiast segment look for P45, Asus P5Q lineup is very exciting. :)
