PC Peripherals Is Canon All-in-One MP-180 a good buy? Rs 5000 only.

Hi ppl...I was lukin to buy a good AIO....I stumbled across this offer on compareindia website for Canon All-in-one MP-180....price just Rs 5000/- at Anupam Stationery,Borivali,Mumbai...

I would be using this one at home...no heavy usage.....Is this a good pick....what do u guys say...or is there any other better one in d same price range...

Any idea about the cartridges...are they expensive.... :ashamed: third party cartridges like Amkette or Imagemaster etc ;are they available for this model too...

What about refilling :huh: ...Im clueless.....Please suggest.....
 
Are you sure its for Rs.5000?? i think it must be cheaper..

i bought an MP160 for Rs.4300 in November 2006. Very good performance.. got local refilling done for the cartridges..
 
yup mp180 would be even more cheaper but i guess the production has stopped and now when u go in any shop they suggest mp145......i bought mp160 for 3.7k whereas mp145 was ard 3.4k than......

According to my searching at that time i found mp 160 better than mp180...thats why paid 300 premium .....5k looks too much to me...if u can get it for ard 4-4.2k...than good....if not than its better to see hp seriesin 5k range

naa regarding hp no idea...but since the price u quote ws 5k i suggested hp(becoz all in one of hp comes for 5-6k).....

But i m using mp145 canon...got for 3.7k and ill strongly suggest that.....
 
Quad in short if u can get your hands on mp160 get that.....else mp180...if even that u cant get than try the latest mp145.....All shopkeepers will force u u buying an outdated version but i guess mp 145 is with some less option and thats why cheaper.....Even when i got mp 160 the guy had only 1 ready all other shops quoted price but said ull have to collect after 2-3 days..i paid 3.7k ...but i guess u should try to get for 3.6k....and 5k is really horrible price to say maximus....why dont u try lammy may be they will deliver for 100-200 xtra charge

have de mp180 myself..got it for 4.6k at ritchie street..
its just great and performance unbeatable!

unfortunately,unlike de HPs ,this canon printer has low onboard memory,so it is quite slow..
but for home use its more than recommended
 
@thetoxicmind......thanks.....:) how long have u been using it what bt the inkjet cartridges.....u buy new/buy 3rd party compatible cartridges OR get it refilled...Plz reply.

Sadly :(i have to buy it 5K itself cuz no other dealers have this in stock except biggies like Vijay Sales, Croma & Anupam store..

If any of u know ne dealers(mumbai) where its available for a lesser price plz lemme know..i wanna buy this in 2-3 days time....Tks.
 
These were out of stock everywhere(*MP 180)....vijay sales too....

So i bought the HP AIO C4288 for 6400/- Rs. from Croma....Just bought it this evening..:)
