I am also MTNL Delhi broadband user and i want to buy one too.
I have found D-Link 802C/502T - which one to choose out of them?
C2C is selling one: D-Link ADSL modem at 1540 and Netgear Router at 1550.
Any suggestions !!

why do you guys wanna buy a modem when MTNL rents out their modems pretty cheap?
and the modems that MTNL rents out...they are not that great i admit..but they do the job....i have not faced any problem with my cheap quality UTStarcom modem for more than 6 months now..

Exactly, and in case they conk off, they change them for free! I have had 3 modem changes in past 4 years or so.
