Audio MP-21 Microphone problem

Recently got an MP-21.Was trying use it with Samsung WAVE.The microphone sensitivity is very low.Other can hear only a feeble voice.

What might be the issue guys.
 
I faced this issue with my galaxy S, turns out the pin layout used by Samsung is different compared to the one used by Apple in their iPhone and few iems with mic were incompatible with it. Try it with another phone and see if the problem replicates
 
^Yeah both Nokia and Samsung use a similar pin layout and products can be interchanged between the two brands. Its Apple that went with an alternate pin layout and most new products these days are ipod compatible and dont work :p
 
any idea about LG optimus one? the iphone 4 stock headsets Mic doesnt work with the LG optimus one.
Which handsfree would work with LG optimus one?
 
The Optimus phones are not listed in meelecs compatibility list so guess its out as well. https://www.meelec.com/Articles.asp?ID=155#Compatibility

There are some pin out converters available that will convert the samsung/etc pin layout to iphone layout but havent tried it out. Meelecs facebook page last time mentioned to try contacting support since they were working on such a adaptor.
