The back has been known to be prone to scratches. Can be taken care off if using decent cases.

Build wise Sony Ericsson Neo is a really excellent phone. Since its Sony, the camera and multimedia will be good. Hardware wise is also excellent. There are some small random issues like Wifi not connecting, 3g not connecting or some sms/mms issues. It is only experienced by small amount of users. Once again those are common for any handets. Other than that there are no major issues.

SE r best for camera and built quality, but for that price tag y not check out other(brand) dual core phone.

but as u said, he is SE fanboy checkout the arc. I think its better than neo with bigger(4.2) screen and slim form factor.

Thats a bad price mate. Neo is a good Midrange Phone,Not high end. Unless your friend loves the design of neo,It does not justify the pricing.

Maybe The source is charging more because the phone is pretty rare here.
