at last u posted ur mod ...... i was hearing about this so long .... i almost lost the hope to see it lol ......

it looks awesome ...... really neat :)

Awesome work mate.....seems like you put in a great lot of effort into it...saw a similar porsche 911 based case but first time seeing an elise.

PS: next time plz post thumbnails insted of direct links.
 
Yep, like Rahul said, it started as an RC car and eventually its base was replaced. Things like the front cd tray had to be chopped from the actual model to make way for the DVD. few other things have been replaced too. like the orignal wheelbase to make way for the wheel fans.
 
It took me a total of 9 months to complete this project. Not because its so difficult, but because I had other projects running at the same time too. which I will post in the time to come.

I'll give you their names though.
1. The Borg Sphere/Borg Cube
2. The Naked lady (aka transparent cabinet)
3. PPC (personal portable computer)

time for the innards of the Elise, ... they date way back when I just started the project.





As you can see, I havent even installed the GFX card and all the cables yet on these pics. so the innards now have changed compared to when the project initially started.
