Budget 90k+ Need help for office laptop. Budget 100k-120k.

Hey everybody! I got a situation here!
I need to suggest my sister a laptop.
Her office will reimburse upto 100k. Anything above that will be paid by her. If no purchase is made funds will lapse.
She already has a macbook, looking for windows this time . Her usage is basic office work…mails and all. But, the laptop will be used by me mostly.

We need to finalise in a few days. cant wait for upcoming launches.
So, from 2in1 detachables to ultra light weight gaming laptops, please suggest a laptop which feels premium, looks premium, is light weight, has great display, decent battery life and latest processor, no heating, and NO 16:9 screen.

I am in same situation as yours, Didn't find anything interesting . However you can try the Zenbook and Dell .
However with Dell you can get Headset or printer Canon at 99rs . If you do not have a printer at home, you can certainly try at Dell Latitude laptops which is on sale right now.

Try Asus laptops. Their TUF versions are heavier I think. if you want lighter versions, I'd suggest you go for something like Asus Zephyrus G14 (2022 model), it has RX 6700S GPU and Ryzen 7 6800HS CPU. Screen is 16:10. This is the best laptop in my opinion in this price range. 1TB NVME SSD, sRGB 100%, 16GB DDR5 RAM sticks, all the best components out there. it doesn't heat as much and you can put it through any sort of games, it'll run smoothly. This will cost you around 130k and if you plan on buying it make sure to do it from the official Asus online store.

Surface pro 9? The i5 version has decent power under the hood to last a long time. I do admit the service is a bit lacklustre, the surface might last 5 years or die within a year.

Fujitsu also has a 2-in-1 convertible which is under 1 kg, IMO good option for lightweight computing. It has all ports one could possibly need (including ethernet lol)

+1 for the surface. The performance is pretty good for the surface.
I have surface pro 6 which I purchased in 2019 from US. My kid used for 2 years to attend his school during covid and it is still going strong. Updated to windows 11 last year July and performance for basic activities have improved. If the use case is what OP mentioned, surface is the choice from me.
I will again buy surface, once the current one dies

If it is something that you're gonna use then buy another macbook. Also, if being thin is not a big priority then you can get a Legion, considering she has a mac already that would be carried around, a powerful windows machine albeit less portable makes more sense than another thin and light one.

I would advise againts Asus / Surface. Looks can be deceptive !

I recommend the ThinkPad if you truly value good keyboards. I refuse to purchase any other laptop (used to use MacBook) after getting one. They are also easily repairable if something ever happens and the official site offers deals from time to time regularly.

I should also mention that their support is top tier. One of my ThinkPads had 3 dead pixels and they send a repair person within a day of reporting it when I was in a village area in Gujarat.

Have been using a thinkpad x1 carbon for last 5.7 yrs, still runs as good as new. Amazing build quality, ultralight in weight, and as my friends say, so slim it can cut vegetables :lol:
Would definitely recommend this over all others !

something to check with these is the bluetooth mic. mine came with a mediatek wlan/Bluetooth chip and i didn't check audio input over Bluetooth for the longest time.

when i did jump into a call over bluetooth, the other person heard constant voice crackling. i later recorded and found the same results. i thought maybe my buds+ were dying so i bought a Sony wh-1000xm5 but... had the same results. i opened a ticket with asus customer care in June. it's been two months and they still don't understand the problem. funny thing is they replaced the perfectly working touch display with a new one and touch did not work anymore. they also replaced the GPU fan because it showed up as faulty in ADT (Asus Diagnostic Tool, which is just a linux distro. btw the laptop isn't fully compatible with Linux) so it took two months for them to fix this issue as replacements of touch displays also did not work. now that the touch issue is fixed, the bluetooth issue remains and now they are saying to open a new ticket after two weeks because already too many parts have been ordered for the laptop.

i plan to just order an intel ax210 from Amazon and avoid going to asus. laptop in this case is last year's Asus UM5302TA with ryzen 6800u.
