The Main Purpose Is Gaming
After Long Persuation my father agreed with a budget of 35k (40k max):hap2:
So i thought ill be using my old monitor keyboard mouse n speakers:(
So i want suggestions from all our gr8 TE members.:)
BTW i stay in mumbai so ill be buying from lamington
So guyz i need help in buying rest of the peripherals
Also plz quote the prices along with the component if possible
1)processor
2)Motherboard

4)ram : 2*1 GB DDR2 667 Kingston/Transcend : 3600

5)dvd-rom : Sony DRU 170C DVD RW : 1500 sata is 1800 something, though hard to find

6)gpu(preferably dx 10 card) : Galaxy 7600GT OC'd edition : 7200

7)cpu cooler : stock for now

8)Cabinet : Any decent cabbie like Zebronics Antibiotic/Lava : 2000

9)power supply (if not included in cabinet) : Cooler Master eXtreme Power 600 : 3600

10) UPS : APC 650VA : 2900

Total : 32k

Improvements : get a 500GB Hdd for 5900 or 400GB for 4800

i bought another xfx board last week for 5200rs. so its 350rs lower than what u have posted.

also since u have mentioned a zebby cabinet & cm extreme both come to 5600rs.

i would suggest to get seventeam 500w which is same as cm extreme 600w with chieftec bh01 cabby. it costs 7000rs. just 1400rs more you will get a great cabinet.

& since your budget is around 40k. i would suggest to add 7k more to this 8600gt & get the 8800gts 320mb which is available in the group order for 14k.
 
Actually i want a gfx card which will last for quite sometime i mean i can play latest games bcauz i knw dad wont allow me to upgrade it for atleast 2-3 yrs
 
hey howz this cabinet cooler master 830 ,does it come with power supply.and asus p5b dlx with wifi vs xfx 650i ultra.Also i have decided ill go for 8600 gt (can u quote the lamington price ) and the company for 8600gt as i heard some cards dont have tv output.(i need tv output)

get the galaxy 8600gt. its for 7200rs, factory ocd & has tvout.

dont think about stacker 830 as it costs around 13k or so without psu. so your budget will go crazy if u purchase this.

also u cant compare p5b dlx wifi & 650i ultra. your on a budget. 650i is a great board & very good ocer. p5b deluxe is also very good but it costs double of 650i ultra.

so consider your budget i think you shouldnt get the p5b deluxe or a stacker 830.

check out the chieftec i mentioned. its a great cabinet for its price.

Ram how abt ocz or corsair instead of transcend and wats the price diff between 667mhz n 800mhz wats ur recomm
and as per ur cabby and psu selection will i get it in lamington if yes can u tell me the full name of the cabinet with model no. and psu (actually i thought both will come in 4k)
and abt cpu cooler or memory cooler req or not if req then which company:hap2:
 
memory cooler not required as it comes with heat spreads, for cpu cooler you can go with thermalrights u120, comes for 2650+4%vat which you will get at primeabgb - 23896600/23855500, dont forget to take a 120mm fan with this cooler, i think the vantec blue led fans will be good, you can take that from prime he will charge you some 700bux for that.

6)gpu(preferably dx 10 card) - galaxy 8600gt -7k

7)cpu cooler - thermalrights ultra 120w/fan - 3.5k

8)Cabinet - cheiftec bh01 - 5k otherwise

9)power supply (if not included in cabinet) - i would suggest you the corsair hx620 coz you said you are not going to upgrade for 2-3 years so this will last you for a long time - 7k

total come to around 47k i you can extend well and good but if you cannot then get a cheap cabbie - zebronics antibiotic 1.8k, give the cpu cooler a miss, and get kingston ram costing around 3.5k then you total comes out to around 39.9k

he can get chieftec bh01 with a seventeam 500w psu aka cmextreme 600w for 7k.

BTW i got 2 fans with the cabinet 1 to the back panel 1 to right panel.i got 3 more slots for fans

(1 more to the right n 2 to the left).i think fan sizes are 90mm .Do u think there is necessity for installing these 3 more fans.
 
you didn't take the thermalrights ultra 120 as i guess prime was out of stock, no need of putting extra fans unless you comp has lost its cool
