PC Peripherals PC config needed for 12 yr old - 20K

Hi,

As the topic says, i need some idea about about PC configuration for a 12 year old, budget is 20K - AMD, Intel doesn't matter

All included - PC, LCD, Speakers, UPS everything.

Please note this is for a lil kid at my village in Jhunjhunu - Rajasthan. I do not require anything hi fi, just basic. very basic.

Would be nice if it can run NFS most wanted :)

A very basic AMD cpu mobo combo. for 6 K + 15 inch lcd 6.5k + 160gb hdd 2k , cabinet+psu - 1k + 1 k dvd rw + mouse keyboard 500

should lcd's be considered when the buyer is on 20k budget for pc includin everything..even ups??:(
save cash on lcd set back to 17" CRT if the machine wont be used heavily...
can tell approx how long will this machine be running in 1 day?

processor = sempron ( the cheapest you can find. the low cost semprons are damn VFM - low power , and OC well too :p, and are perfect for regular usage. my sis' pc has one )

mobo = any 6100 series board other than the Asus. I'd suggest the gigabyte GA M61PME S2.

no need for gfx, yet. the 6100 should be able to handle most older games, and some newer ones as well. i finished portal at medium settings on a sempron + 6100 rig :)

and get a good UPS. splurge 2.5k for an APC. and some good speakers(Vs4121?) . I'm sure the kid will appreciate

I am thinking of getting a 17" inch CRT as the LCD is out of budget. Let me list it all down and i'll post it here.

Plz dnt Hurt the little kid's EYES! buy a Future Proof TFT (+the kid will Love the Looks of it) Get it wall mounted if u want safety
