Hi All,

I am looking for a good mouse for general purpose desktop computing and a little bit gaming. I would prefer a mouse with some extra side buttons which can be configured (specially for middle button click) and USB interface only :)

Also looking for mouse pad if suggested mouse doesn't work so good on glass table :)

Total budget : 1k to 4k

Please suggested. Thanks in advance.

^^ Personally I haven't used any mouse worth more than Rs 700 :ashamed: .. I m using right now around 2 years old simple logitech mouse with laptop.

But now I need one more mouse dedicated for desktop .. since I haven't used any mouse from Razer or Roccat or cooler master, I have to rely on reviews and personal views :)

So guys .. please suggest some good mouses before I do any impluse buying :eek:hyeah:

I am looking for feature rich (some extra customizable buttons), rock solid build, general purpose mouse :D

Ive never had a mouse over the basic logitech 2 button mouse either...until now... its like jumping from the stone age to space age... from 150buck mouse to 4300 buck mouse...lol :)

If you your wrist hurts or your arm hurts consider using a mouse pad with wrist support. I bought the Razer Vespula off Ebay and its about as comfortable as possible. I suggest you go through Razer mouse buying guide to see which mouse suits your grip and style the best.

Check out for the size of mouse also before buying, mouse like mx-512 is kinda big for small/medium size hand. Gaming Mouse is useless without proper grip.

Absolutely true, if you are into long gaming session then comfort is must. Hence, you should Know your grip style - palm, claw or finger tip before buying any mouse as pointed out by Sunny27

^ yep ... u all are correct :)

From the reviews .. DA is proven and reliable one and Kone V2 is also good (and more customizable :p)

Just one question ... Where can I try these mouses without buying them? :ashamed:

lol i doubt any vendor offers such facility... btw u haven't mentioned any game u play since DA, mx-512, Copperhead all these mouses r for fps gaming & naga etc r best suited for mmo games. So basically it depends upon what games u r into.

I do gaming very rarely ... mostly I like action games for example POP series

Please have a look at above quote and first post.
