why does it always happen to me ???
suddenly 1 day the sound just went off .. tried lot of things .. but in vain ...
went to rashi ..
the chip level engineer said that sound ic is rusted and will have to change the ic
i asked is it a risk .. he said not really 90% if it is replaced properly everything will be fine but cannot guarantee the sound will work or not
i thought why to take that 10 % risk and spoil my lovely mobo .. i enquired about few soundcards at various places inc pristine ..
eventually got a 150rs sad usb soundcard for few days coz .. xonar dg still hadnt arrived @ pristine
a few mins ago was watchinf footy vids at utube .. suddenly i inserted my headphones and WHOAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa......
the sound is working again ???
